ABOUT MINISTRY WEB DIRECTORY

The Ministry Web Directory system was developed to meet the need of the recent groundswell of individuals who are asking to serve in some capacity of ministry. This surge over the past years has caused some frustration since until now there was no central location to find names and contact information about ministry organizations and specific church based outreach programs.

The variety of ministry interests and time availability of many thousands nationwide caused our design team to focus more on cataloguing and listing organizations rather than focusing on vacancies. Only listing opportunities became too limiting of criteria to link the individual with an organization. Also, with the numerous requests on the part of high capacity leaders seeking to find a ministry organization to develop a new project, the limitations of acancies also became an issue. For this reason, Finishers Project and IDAK Group have joined together to assist those who seek to serve in a ministry organization or church.

Ministry Web Directory services multiple service needs. It helps college/seminary students find internship contacts. It assists with searches for full-time ministry service. It is a resource for those who are looking for a short term mission trip.

By partnering with colleges and seminaries as well as national organizations, the Ministry Web Directory provides special links to individual ministries which may not be as well known yet are still providing a vital service.
